This course aims to provide a hands-on introduction to bacterial bioinformatics for sequences analysis and to equip participants with the essential bioinformatics skills and tools required to begin analysing bacterial sequence data and carry out some of the most common types of analysis.
The course aims to provide a hands-on introduction to bacterial bioinformatics for next generation sequencing, and should not be considered a complete education in the theoretical and mathematical foundations of the topics.
Applicants should be biomedical scientists, postgraduate / undergraduate students, faculty members, clinicians, healthcare professionals who are planning or already involved in the next generation sequencing data analysis. The course will be taught in English.
